What We Value:
- People first: Without our people, we are nothing. The organisation exists to create amazing games – and that requires talented people empowered to do their best.
- Quality: We make quality products. Our first priority in development is a stable and enjoyable experience that our team can be proud of.
- Immersion: We make immersive and visceral games; keeping the player in the moment, earning their focus and driving memorable interactions.
- Learning: We invest in our people, developing them and growing with them. Better trained people are happier and produce better games.
- Reward: It comes in many forms, but personal satisfaction is the biggest reward. Knowing that your contribution and presence is meaningful and impactful, and noticed by the the whole team and our players.

Ethan "Voxel Vagrant" Toose (they/them)Creative Director
Ethan is a nerd. Professionally. They've been mucking about with lights since Happy Feet in 2006 (Ethan is also getting to be an OLD nerd) and used to be one of those weirdos who always chose the Unreal Developer's Kit over Unity. Now we're at the end of the Unreal Engine 4 lifecycle, on the cusp of Unreal Engine 5's world domination and suddenly Ethan's artsy fartsy technical wizbang skillset is suddenly very popular. It's weird being popular. They prefer being a nerd, and so they've said no to every single project offered to them for the last year. Except MIS. MIS is special and are doing something VERY interesting.

Offline, he has a passion for martial arts with swords and unarmed.

Kyle Taylor (He/Him)Systems, Mechanics & Level Designer
Kyle is a Game Designer at MI Studios. His day-to-day involves designing game mechanics and building game levels across our projects. Before MI Studios, he designed and tested projects for PBS Kids and worked as a consultant in Test Automation & Quality Assurance for large company-wide transition. Kyle kindly presents this fact for your ponderance: In Skyrim, the work benches and tables were forgotten on the asset list. So instead of trying to add it in last-minute, Bethesda took their bookshelves and pushed them into the ground. Next time you play Skyrim, go underground and have a look. https://kylekindaknows.itch.io/

He is passionate about creating believable worlds in games through immersive audio, and has a particular interest in ambience, Foley and implementation. His love of recording sound effects often means he is a creature of the night – come to his home studio at 4am and you may find him shaking small pouches of metallic objects or rubbing clothes together, after the nearby construction workers have gone home and the birds have stopped chirping! He is an avid Tomb Raider enthusiast (from the originals to the recent trilogy), GTA V addict and EA Sports junkie! As well as working at MI Studios, he is currently completing an online Masters in Game Music and Audio at ThinkSpace Education.
Arthur RossAssociate Lead Game Developer
Arthur is a Junior Scripter at MI Studios. He started learning game engines early on, starting with RPG Maker 95 when he was 10. By 12 he was building websites; by 16, he had been given class credits for single handedly upgrading his high school’s website. After studying software applications programming and software engineering in college, he moved into games development. Since then, he’s mastered XNA (never forget), Unity, RPG Maker, Game Maker, and currently Unreal Engine. Arthur has also worked on a number of indie projects before MI Studios, and couldn’t be happier with his workplace. He rightly believes Persona 5 is a masterpiece that everyone should at least try it.
Riley McCarthyGame Developer
As a studying mechatronics engineer, Riley quickly found himself using his training in programming languages to make games in his spare time. Deciding that games programming was where he wanted his career to lead, Riley redirected his training to be games-specific. He has since gained experience with Unity and Unreal Engine through numerous group projects as well as his own solo ventures into key systems he finds himself wanting to learn more about in his spare time. Being an Xbox family, never-ending split-screen Halo sessions with his older brother and father paved the way for Riley's early gaming experiences. Growing older, his favourite games are anything he can lose himself in, whether it be an amazing open world RPG like The Witcher III or a demanding, gruelling effort like the Dark Souls series. Riley loves problem solving and is always excited for his next challenge.
Ivan "JinarHiouS" Korytko (He/Him)Game Developer

Mitchell Grice (He/Him)Junior Game Developer
Mitch is a Game Developer at MI Studios. Mitch works with the designers to implement ideas and concepts. He has a knack for translating design ideas into functional game code, troubleshooting code and fixing bugs. It’s the classic beating heart of game development, basically. He holds a Bachelors in Game Development.
Nabil "Billy" BoustaniJunior Game Developer
Being the second youngest of 9 kids made Billy need to stand out among his siblings, which is why, while everyone was playing outside with a football, he was playing with his first console (Nintendo 64) at the age of 4 and building computers. Video games have always been on his mind: wondering about how they were created and how he can make pictures move like that. This is why he eventually took up a Bachelor of Games Development at SAE. A great game should always be one you can always replay and still feel like it's the first time. He thoroughly enjoys classic 3D platformers like Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter, and he has two dogs named Yoshi and Zelda. Favourite quote: "If it's not fun, why bother?" - Reggie Fils-Aimé
